Video: Daily Intention – In the Name of Life
February 23rd, 2010 // 12:27 pm @ admin
Good morning and another spectacular day in the Universe
In the name of life, my intention of the day
A spark of energy
A blast from the past
A lucky break, WOW!
How it simply opens the gate
Now, you are in the right spot
You must know what you’ve got
And the gift is the name
Life, is the best of all games
You have it right now
No matter where you are
The circumstances are all part of the flame
The moment is to simply think it so, good
A smile, a blessing, the beauty of all ways
To take a breath, you live, in the name
Life, is a spectacular and blessing good game
It is whatever it is, and the trick is to see it so
And to see is to simply know, all good as you go
It is all good, enjoy each and every great day
Short, yet eternal, a thought of the game
Or simply in the name, life, the beauty of the game
Namaste,
Dr. Rob

“Everyone has a responsibility to not only tolerate another person’s point of view, but also to accept it eagerly as a challenge to your own understanding. And express those challenges in terms of serving other people.” ~ Arlo Guthrie

Dr. Rob’s on my mind:
Yes another best day and beautiful way. It is all driven by our thoughts, gifted by the energy that creates life. And with this it is important to recognize that we, you and I, are in control of this and only this, thought. This is the corner stone of and the trick of life. If I simply think of an event or a person as good, that I always do, or as bad, no longer my fad, somehow my internal energy stirs this up and makes it so. Thought an electro molecular energy that then sends out markers, transmits energy to attract (or repel) what I think about.
For we are the creators of the Universe and the energy is flowing to and through each and every one of us. We are all here as one yet somehow we are all seeing and having different experiences. This past weekend I had a great experience and I spent some time with Pilar and Gina in Princeton. I had a great one on one dinner with Pilar and we contemplated the Universe, its origins and future creativity. I had the privilege to experience her final dance performance, wow, how time zips by, the fourth and final year at Princeton, with the student run team, diSiac. I loved the students creative and out of the box dance movements, which at times a little risque in scantly clothed, in the name of art and creativity. Always working out of the box, yet learning from the experiences of others that have come before us. I have enjoyed each and every one of the diSiac dance performances over the last four years and know that this has been a great creative process for all of the students. They are all awesome and amazing.
Dance is all part of the name of life, for we are all dancing in slow motion each and every day. We need to consciously think of the dance and of the movements we make. Yet, not be attached to the last move, and while enjoying the current move we are contemplating the next one, going with the flow that we create. Add a little song, music, rhythm, and then make the moves. For dance is in art and art is the dance in life. Bring joy to your day by getting together with others and practice the dance of life. Some music, rhythm, dance, touch and more. For all is good and all is a simple dance, where anything and everything can, will happen.
I also went to see Arlo Guthrie at the McCarter Theatre in Princeton and then to see Avatar at the Imax in 3D, with Gina. A great blast from the past with Arlo and his family singing and bringing great energy in the present moment. All inspiring music, rhythm and dance to bring us up and connect us as one. From New Orleans on a train to the New York Islands in a vision, he and his family continue to bring creative words, joy and love to all of our lives. And then, Avatar, a vision of the warrior, the archetypal hero, with amazing special affects and a touching story of the energy within all things.
On the four hour drive down and the four hour drive back, I always take advantage of the opportunity to listen to a new book (automobile university). An opportunity and an easy 4 hour stint to listen to some great audio books. Listening to Garth Steins’ Racing in the Rain, I was touched by his words and imagination. A happy and at times sad story, yet inspiring of the connection of auto racing, life and death to our own lives, as told by Enzo the dog. Inspiring words are so important in our lives and with reading, positive intentions and motivation this is then built into our hard drives. Garth Stein weaves great words as told by Enzo, from his point of the Universe. He quotes Denny, his owner, an aspiring auto racer; “That which we manifest is before us; we are the creators of our own destiny. Be it through intention or ignorance, our successes and our failures have been brought on by none other than ourselves.”
Remember that life is the gift of the Universe and you are in possession of it now. And you are the creator of the direction of your life. Look where you want it to go, not where you fear to go. Our fear and worries will take us right into the wall of the race track. Keep your eyes, your intention, on the finish line, the prize and not to the wall or the infield. You are the creator of your life, now practice with the beauty and thoughts of exactly this. Remember, high intention, that is desire yet non attachment. No judgment, love all and forgive all, and especially yourself.
Blessings,
Dr. Rob
