The power of life is draining some days
I feel undone and depleted I say
Where to find the power, I am dismayed
I pray and pray to find the treasure this day
To take a breath and find the way
This I search to find fun, meaning and play
Now I simply plug in, and power up a way
Turn it on and share feelings today
For change is always in the air
The stories of life guide and fair the way
Power me up and inspire the day
I connect and plug in and find joy, today
For life is to give, the gift this day
The gift of stories, all connections to play
Positive and giving, love all I always say
The power is there, now simply plug in

Dr. Rob on my mind:

I am blessed each and every day of life I know. It is extra special to spend time in my pottery studio in the morning, relaxing and plugging in to my energy source. And on this beautiful snowy day, I was able to glaze some pots and create. My meditative place is there, and a passionate experience and outlet. An outlet for me to plug into, and gain the needed energy of creativity. In the studio I am expressing my inner play and fun energy of the day. As I work I am often listening to a book, a story to inspire my journey. Always seeking knowledge and plugging in, and there I find the power of my day. For me, the inspiration of the day and of life comes from the doing of something and always with joy and passion. For what I do is always a choice and I know that whenever I proceed with passion and love for anything, I do it best. It is in the doing that we find the energy of life. This is how I fuel my day and pave the way to full joy and happiness. Every day I plug in to an inspiring book, a story or essay to motivate and inspire, me.

I am always seeking knowledge for a better and more fulfilled understanding of our human experience. And with an artistic exploration I am learning of the gems within all of us. Talent is a creative process and all people have it. Most of us think that we have no talent and thus do not explore the possibilities. The creative talent is in all of us. Same hardware, now you simply must add the necessary software. Override the old stuff with new stuff. There is so much thought out there, and it is right in front of you. Now turn off the television, open up a book, paint a picture or write a story. No attachment to the outcome is the key. The joy is in the doing and that is how your inner soul is truly expressed. Man has shared his artistic talent since the dawn of time, and only through the reading, writing, throwing mud, exploratory conversations, and connections can we grow and inspire our inner beauty. With the plugging in, we are powering up and moving forward, at life speed. Get up, get out, and share your inner soul and beauty.
