How long can you go without complaining or gossiping?
Here’s a challenge, taken from infertility specialist Dr. Robert Kiltz’s new positive-thinking Web site, mindbodysmile.com. A nonprofit group called A Complaint-Free World is trying to spread a spirit of cooperation throughout the world.
Here’s how: You wear a purple bracelet (similar to the yellow LiveStrong bracelets) on one arm. Your goal is to wear it for 21 days. But if you catch yourself complaining or spreading gossip, you must take the bracelet off one arm, put it on the other and start over.
Seems simple enough, huh?
Check my blog at http://blog.syracuse.com/healthfitness to find out where to buy the purple bracelets. They’re $5 for a 5-pack, so you can take the challenge along with your pals.
And, I’ve got a link to Kiltz’s site. He offers an “intention of the day,” clips from his Living Well workshops and other treats.
